Aprilia has unveiled the GPR 250 at China last year in 2019 and now the rumours said that it is expected that the Italian motorbike manufacturer will showcase its powerful bike in the coming Auto Expo 2020 and will launch it in Indian automobile market in between next 4-6 months.

Inspired from the styling looks of Aprilia RSV4, a 249.2 cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine powers the ride of GPR 250. Having an arrangement of 6 speed gearbox, the engine is capable
of generating a maximum power of 26.5 hp at 9000 rpm and a torque of 22Nm at 7500 rpm.

Impressively it is only 150 kg so one can expect to have an excellent Power To Weight Ratio as compared to its rivals. The bike rests on USD (upside-down) suspension in front and monoshock suspension at the rear. A single disc brake at the front and at the rear takes the responsibility for braking duties.

The dimensions of the bike measures 1950mm in length, 770mm in width, 1100mm in height, 1350mm in wheelbase. It comes with a fuel capacity of 14 litres which is certainly better. This machine gets a 100/80-R17 tyre in front and 130/70-R17 at the back. The highlighted features
of GPR 250 include semi digital instrument console, clip-on handlebars, dual channel ABS,
underbelly exhaust system, aluminum twin-spar chassis and swing arm.
The expected ex-showroom price of Aprilia GPR 250 will be around ₹2.20 lakhs and will be competing with Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, TVS Apache RR 310, KTM RC 200 and Honda CBR250R.
