Audi India is about to add a new model in their Audi India
lineup list, the upcoming new model of Audi RS7 will be going to join A6, A8
and Q8 next month. Audi has teased the new generation RS7 which will be way
much more than the previous model, Audi has expectations that the car will take
the legacy of Audi India to a new level.
The new Audi RS7 is an all-wheel drive car that get its power from a 4.0 litre twin turbocharged V8 engine that rips out a maximum power of 592 hp and a peak torque of 800 Nm. With that high magnitude and integrated 8-speed automatic transmission the car can catch up from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.6 seconds. It has a top speed of 250 kmph but with Dynamic pack the option of raising the speed can reach to 285 kmph and with Dynamic Plus pack the option of raising the speed can go to 305 kmph.
Though the car holds aggressive sporty looks, it shares some features from its previous version as well as from Audi A7 model. With paddle shifters it also shares previous RS steering wheel and RS seats and took similar visual features like hood, front doors and boot lid from Audi A7. The front has an attractive look and the black honeycomb grille adds some compliment to it.
The car gets a new oval exhaust pipe at the back and air dams at front, a new bumper and bigger diffuser than the previous. The cabin gives a sportier design with dashboard featuring a dual touchscreen layout. On the rider’s demand, the can have a 22 inch rim at its wheel or else can ride with 21 inch rim as standard.
The car will set its competing horns with Mercedes-AMG E63 S and BMW M5. The price is not revealed but it is expected to cost ₹1.2 crore (ex-showroom). Though the car is amazing with damn nice looks, the global COVID 19 outbreak has set the market graphs low, it would be interesting to watch how the car will hold success in the midst of all this.
