·      Ford had to double the production unit of Bronco from 3500 to 7000 units to meet the demands.

It took just a matter of hours and all the production of 3500 units of Bronco were booked when the official booking started, this led Ford to double the production of Bronco First Edition to 7000 units. Though the production number doubled but according to recent reports, those extra units have also been booked as well.

Earlier, Bronco SUV surfed the uneven roads for three decades, from 1966 to 1996 and became one of the most favorite vehicle of that time. After Ford put off the car from their portfolio after the fifth edition, it gave an impression of discontent among the Ford fans. No doubt the fan following still remain intact which led to double the production.

Ford has made the car available in two doors and four doors, and to give the car some historic touch from its ancestors, the car is built on the traditional body frame as a Ranger pickup truck. Besides the traditional body frame, the compact sports version of Bronco follows the Escape’s body frame architecture.

The First Edition Bronco is mated with 2.7 litre EcoBoost V6 that can generate a maximum of 310 horsepower and a peak torque of 542 Nm. This thumping power plant is integrated with 10 speed transmission. While the sixth generation Bronco comprise of 2.3 litre turbocharged EcoBoost inline 4-cylinder engine that can pump a power of 270 horsepower and a peak torque of 420 Nm.

The 2021 First Edition Ford Bronco holds standard equipment offered from Lux and Sasquatch packages to stand at customer’s expectations as 12.3 touchscreen infotainment system, heated leather seats, Bang & Olufsen audio, Shadow Black top and Safari bar. With all these features the Ford Bronco puts up a price tag of $59,305 (₹45 lakhs approx) for two doors and $63,500 (₹48 lakhs approx) for the four door. But don’t have to be happy as these are the charges excluding the extra taxes. No news is given out regarding release in India, but sale in India could be a bad move as audience here focus more on price than quality.
