Harley Davidson’s First Adventure Bike in India

• Harley Davidson plans to launch its first adventure tourer bike Pan America in India.

Harley Davidson, a name which requires no introduction, a renowned name in the automotive world for its outstanding bikes. From the recent updates in the official website of Harley Davidson India, this American motorcycle manufacture is all set to launch its first adventure tour Pan America in India in 2020.

A pleasurable news for long riders as well as Harley fans. The bike made its debut at EICMA in 2019 Motorcycle Show in Italy, Harley Davidson has tried a different approach in Pan America by making an extremely unique body design.

This touring bike gets power from the 60-degree, liquid cooled V-twin DOHC 1250cc, Harley Davidson’s new Revolution Max engine that delivers a maximum power of 145 PS of output and can generate a 122 Nm of peak torque.

The engine is equipped with a balance shaft for low vibrations, the breaks are made from the coordinated work of Harley and Brembo and tyres are the result of coordinated work of Harley and Michelin. The new radial Monobloc four-piston caliper will do fine with the Harley’s first new adventure segment as claimed by the company, weight and the powertrain will also determine its performance and the bike meets the Euro-5 standards.

No deep details are known for now expect that the machine shown is a prototype model and the production model features can vary and the motorbike had a full screen touchscreen display, smartphone connectivity and riding modes, but one can expect more from Harley Davidson in riding facilities. Harley Davidson has made proper entry through Pan America in the adventure tourer segment and will become a threat siren for its competitors like of Ducati Multistrada 1260 and Triumph Tiger. The expected price of the bike is range from ₹13 lakh to ₹16 lakh (ex-showroom).
