Honda ADV 150
  • Honda has launched a new off-roading adventure scooter in the US inspired from its 745cc maxi scooter Honda ADV X, known as Honda ADV 150.
  • It has Showa telescopic suspension forks in the front and dual gas charged shock absorbers for the rear suspension.
  • The scooter will be launched in single color scheme known as Matte Black Metallic.

The two-wheeler division of Honda Motor Company has recently launched its new product in the United States named as Honda ADV 150. This Japanese automobile manufacturer has built a cousin sibling of the Honda ADV X which is a 745cc maxi scooter, inspired from ADV X, ADV 150 is integrated with almost all the facilities required in a long drive.

The multinational conglomerate has equipped the adventure scooter with a power source of 149cc liquid cooled 80-degree single cylinder fuel injected engine that produces a maximum of 14.3 hp of horsepower and a peak torque of 13.8 Nm. For the adventure scooter to tackle all kinds of road, it has transmission of V-Matic belt drive, Showa telescopic fork suspension of 5.1 inches in the front and dual gas charged shock absorbers of 4.7 inches for the rear suspension. The scooter is launched in two variants, one with ABS and the other without it, the black alloy wheels provide a premium and sporty look to the wheels, the front wheel is of 14-inch while the rear wheel is of 13-inch, it has a fuel capacity of almost 8 liters and a curb weight of 294 kg.

Honda ADV has two-step adjustable windshield

It had a pair of LED headlamps in the front and LED taillight at the back gives it a premium sporty look, a full digital instrument console above the handle bar and in between the instrument cluster and LED headlamps is the two-step adjustable windshield. The off-roading scooter doesn’t have footrests like the conventional type, instead it gets a step-through design.

The scooter features two USB charging ports

Features like two USB charging ports, keyless ignition, 2-liters storage in the front and 27-liters storage at the back makes it a useful vehicle in the long ride. Honda has scheduled the scooter to be available till June, but there are chances of rescheduling because of pandemic situation. The scooter will be launched in single color scheme known as Matte Black Metallic and will be priced $4,299 (₹3.28 lakhs ex-showroom price).
