·      Honda has filed patent at the European Intellectual Property Office {EIPO} for the concept version of CB4X.

·      CB4X is 4-cylinder sports tourer motorcycle.

·      The patent is filed within a 6 months of showcasing at the EICMA Motorcycle Show.

Honda has filed patent for CB4X motorcycle at the European Intellectual Property Office, from the looks, it resembles the production version of the concept motorcycle CB4X which made its debut in the 2019 EICMA Motorcycle Show in Italy.

The motorcycle is a crossover between sports and tourer and within a span of 6 months of showcasing the motorcycle at EICMA, Honda has filed patent for its production version. This conclude us to believe that Honda has already started the production lineup for this sports tourer.

Futuristic look is the first compliment that will come in almost everyone’s mind at first single glance. The radical body design is made with just one single piece from front to rear without any breakage.

Honda CB4X is equipped with the 4-cylinder inline engine embedded in Honda CBR 650R but surely with some upgrades added. In CBR 650R, the engine produces a maximum power of 87.16 bhp @ 11,5000 rpm and a peak torque of 60.1 Nm @ 8000 rpm with rear wheel driven by 6-speed transmission.

The sport tourer segment is one of the hottest and the most demanded in motorcycling segment and Honda has given a gift of surprise by unveiling the CB4X as an ADV sports tourer was not expected from Honda. The launch is not revealed by the company, it will be competing with Yamaha Tracer 700, Kawasaki Versys 650, Aprillia Dorsoduro 750, Ducati Hypermotard.
