• Koenigsegg has made the world’s first four seater high performance hyper sports car inspired from the first ever Koenigsegg prototype Koenigsegg CC from 1996, the Koeingsegg Gemera.
• It is not a new category car but first megacar that meets the specious interior, believed to be the Mega-GT.

Koenigsegg is a name recognize world-wide, it is a renowned Swedish automotive manufacturer that produces high performance racing sports car. Till now we have known that a high performance car is always a two seater until and unless Koenigsegg turned it into a myth.

Inspired from the first ever Koenigsegg prototype, the Koenigsegg CC from 1996, Koenigsegg has launched the world’d first four seater high performance hyper sports car known as Koenigsegg Gemera, a vehicle that gives you all the features of a racing sports car which you can enjoy with your friends and family. Gemera is a combination of two Swedish word, “ge” means give and “mera” means more and that comes down to the meaning “to give more”. Koenigsegg Gemera is a Mega-GT as claimed by the company, a true mega car.


This hybrid grand tourer can perform as a super car as well as can give you all the comfort, luggage space and safety in a long range ride. It is a hybrid because it runs on both – combustion and electric. It is equipped with a 2-liters 3-cylinder dry sumped twin-turbo freevalve engine producing a high power of 600 bhp known as the Tiny Friendly Giant (TFG) and three electric motors – one for the crankshaft that produces 400 bhp and 500 Nm to power the fornt wheels and rest two for the rear wheels one for each producing 500 bhp and 100 Nm.

The electric motors alone generate 1400 bhp as individuals and 1100 bhp when combined and adding all these the car produces a total power 1700 bhp or 1.27 megawatts and 3500 Nm of torque. The car flashes from 0 to 100 kmph in 1.9 seconds and can reach a top speed of 400 kmph.

First megacar that meets the specious interior


Surprisingly Gemera can be cleaner than an EV if it is filled with Gen 2.0 ethanol or CO2 neutral methanol, it becomes as a pure electric car, Gemera can also run on E85 and in normal petrol. It is a silent car upto 300 kmph, integrated with a 800 V battey alone gives it a range of 50 km.

It is an all-wheel drive, all-wheel steering and all wheel torque car that offers safety, proper control and a full stability, with a 3000 mm of wheelbase, titanium exhaust system manufactured by Akropovic.

First megacar that meets the specious interior

The car is built with a very strong carbon fiber monocoque, fitted with six smart airbags, TC, ABS, ADAS 2.5, ISOFIX on both the rear seats and stability control.

Large side air intakes

The car also offers eight cup-holders, infotainment systems, wireless chargers driver assistance system, four touchscreens (two 13 inch central touchscreens and two additional screens for rear and side view cameras), Apple CarPlay, Wi-Fi connection, 3-zone climate system, electrically adjustable seats and audio system with 11 speakers.

Gemera also features Koenigsegg Automated Twisted Synchrohelix Actuation Doors (KATSAD) that opens wide full length due to the absence of B-pillars and many recognizable features like hidden A-pillars, fighter jet inspired windshield, short overhangs and large side air intakes.

Koenigsegg Gemera is a limited edition car as Koenigsegg will produce 300 cars. It is not a new category car but first megacar that meets the specious interior, you can believe that it is the Mega-GT.
