Mahindra claimed Peugeot has launched a three wheeler maxi scooter Metropolis in France. Mahindra in popularly recognized for its tractor, trucks and cars. The organization doesn’t have a fruitful impact in the two wheeler segment in the Indian market, yet it owns Peugeot Motorcycles.

The scooter holds up a 399cc four stroke, liquid cooled, single cylinder engine that produces a power output of 35bhp and a peak torque of 38Nm. The scooter has interesting magnitude because of its 280kg weight, the scooter has spacious seats with 50 liters storage underneath and a 13 liter fuel tank and that interesting magnitude helps the scooter to move with ease.

 The scooter comes with a pair of 13 inch wheels at front and 14 inch wheels at the back with 230mm discs at front wheels and 240mm disc at the rear wheel and ABS as a standard safety feature.

It is an urban scooter from Peugeot, the wheeler scooter is not so popular in India but holds quiet a room in the global market. But besides Indian automotive market recognition, this scooter is unlikely to launch in India because of its expensive price tag that is 8.5 lacs in Indian currency, the main reason why it isn’t a good idea to bring the scooter in India.
