Renault is French multinational automobile manufacturer and for a while reports says that Renault India is planning to bring Renault Zoe EV in Indian Automobile market by 2021. By giving the tagline “Charging up for Auto Expo 2020” and teasing the car in its official media accounts, the automobile manufacturer has confirmed that the electric vehicle will be showcased in the line up of Renault India Pvt Ltd in the coming 2020 Auto Expo.
Outside India, Zoe EV comes equipped with battery of 52 kWh which can marathon upto a range of 354 km (approx). The battery is connected to an electric motor which produces maximum of 136 PS power and has a torque of 245 N-m and can swift from 0 to 100 kmph in 9 seconds. The starting price of the hatchback car is £25,670 which is about 24 lakhs in India. But it is expected that the company will be altering the specs in accordance with Indian roads and
weather conditions. The Zoe EV of India could be equipped with 41kWh of battery that can go up to a range of 300 km to 350km producing power 90 PS of power. The car has a dimension of 4087mm in length, 1787mm of width, 1562mm of height, 2588mm of wheelbase.
This smooth curvy designed car has LED headlights with DRLs and taillights. It has spectacular features like 9.3 inch infotainment touchscreen system, 10 inch instrument cluster, wireless smartphone connectivity and so on. As the assembly line of Zoe EV is in India it is possible that the car could be around ₹14 to ₹16 lakhs. Beside Zoe EV, the giant automakers will also showcase a sub compact SUV, HBC(Kiger) at the Auto Expo 2020.
