The BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS are the two German motorcycles that are completely manufactured in India. The company planned to launch the BS6 version of these motorcycle earlier this as per the scheduled, but due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the plan was put on hold.

Recently, a news spread that the BMW Motorrad is taking bookings of the G 310 twins unofficially, from 1st of September the company started accepting bookings. We expect that the motorcycles will hit the roads later this month.

From the teaser image, the G 310 twin motorcycles are mated with new designed headlamps with integrated LED DRLs and new instrument cluster that holds sportier design. The motorcycle has a graphical design of orange color over its frame and alloys, extreme horizontal rear fender. This shows that the graphical design of the motorcycles has adopted some inspiration from the KTM motorcycle. Beside these, the motorcycles have muscular body, sharp edges and a new exhaust pipe.

The motorcycles have a power source of updated BS6 313cc liquid cooled single cylinder motor that can put up a magnitude of 34 PS of power and 28 Nm of peak torque. The very same power plant is used for the TVS Apache RR310. The engine is integrated with 6-speed gear box.

BMW Motorrad hasn’t reveal any info about the price details regarding the motorcycles. The G 310 R is a street fighter while the G 310 GS is an adventure tourer whose BS4 versions are 2.99 lacs and 3.49 lacs respectively. We expect that we will see the motorcycles in the upcoming weeks.
